Description

Edit an existing ad-group criterion's BID (multiplier or fixed amount) and STATUS in place — e.g. change a device/age/location bid adjustment or pause a criterion. ⛔ The criterion detail (age range, device, geo, webpage conditions) is immutable; to change that, delete and re-add. Mutates live targeting.

Required when more than one account is connected; may be omitted with exactly one. `customer_id` is accepted as an alias. If the tool replies that several accounts are connected, re-run with this set — that reply is NOT a connection problem.

ad_group_idstring requiredThe ad group whose criterions are being edited (required).
criterionsarray requiredCriterions to edit IN PLACE. ⛔ Only the BID and STATUS are editable — the criterion detail (age range, device, geo, webpage conditions, etc.) is immutable (delete + re-add to change it). Each: {id (req — from list_microsoft_*_criterions), criterion_type (req — the SPECIFIC concrete type: Age/Gender/DayTime/Device/Location/Radius/LocationIntent/Webpage/<Audience-subtype>/<ProfileType>), and any of: bid_multiplier (e.g. 20 = +20%, for age/gender/daytime/device/location/radius/audience/profile), bid_amount (FixedBid, for webpage/product), status (Active/Paused), negative (bool if it's a negative criterion). LocationIntent takes no bid.}
